Carpet Cleaning Serving Parsippany

There are the 10 steps we use for every carpet-cleaning job.

Prespotting of your carpet is included alwaysStep 1: Pre-Inspection:  The Technicians will walk through the areas you want cleaned with you to inspect the carpet and access any potential permanent stains and at that point can evaluate the expected results.

Step 2: Commercial Pre-Vacuum: The majority of other cleaners overlook this step and this step is crucial. Dry soil must be removed first by a good vacuum to avoid wicking and other problems.

Step 3: Furniture-Moving: Action Carpet Care and Maintenance Company will move most furniture.  The regular pricing includes moving sofas, chairs, tables and smaller items.  Beds, dressers, heavier pieces may carry an additional charge.  Furniture we cannot move includes piano, pool tables, entertainment centers, china closets etc.  However we do dry vacuum right up against the edge of these pieces. (Please check out our page on “How to prepare for carpet cleaning”)

Grooming of your carpetStep 4: Pre-spray: A traffic lane conditioner is applied to break down traffic area soil and general spots; agitation is used to work in the conditioner.

Step 5: Pre-spot: Difficult spots are pre-treated with special solutions to increase the probability of removal.

Step 6: Soil-Extraction: The carpet is then thoroughly rinsed with our powerfully Bane Clene extraction system. (See our page)  We will not over wet the carpet or leave behind a sticky residue.

Step 7: Post-Spot: If there are any spots or stains that remain we will give it extra treatment with our many spotters.  For advanced spotting such as urine, kool aid, wine stains, paint, mustard, furniture stains etc. There is an additional charge. Not all stains can be removed this is discussed in the pre inspection.  Application of Scotchgard protects carpets against the 3 types of soil.  It will lengthen the life of your carpet and protect against permanent stains.

Step 8: Post-Groom: The carpet is groomed with a professional groomer to work in the carpet protector and stand up the carpet pile.

Step 9: Speed-Dry: We can set up a high velocity air mover in the first 1 or 2 rooms to speed up drying the carpet while we work on other areas.

Step 10: Post-Inspection: The Technicians will walk through the areas cleaned to go over the cleaning results.
